Jimmy Adams is the founder of Corporate Storage and serves as President and CEO, directing the growth of the company.
Having launched the company in 2014 with one Georgia location, Corporate Storage now operates 7 locations throughout northeast Georgia and in Texas. Within 4 years, the Gainesville, Georgia headquarters expanded from 250,000 to 400,000 sf under his leadership, and the company now operates in 900,000 sf.
Jimmy is also CEO and Managing Partner of The Adams Companies, now Adams Industrial Properties, marking its 120th year in business. The businesses’ origins in moving and storage led to a diversification into records management, industrial storage, bonded warehousing and industrial development, totaling in excess of 3.5 million square feet. The company was twice recognized as Georgia’s Family Business of the Year.
Throughout his business career, Jimmy has been active in improving his community and industry. He has served as Chairman of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce; Chairman of the Gainesville-Hall County Economic Development Council; The National Records Centers; on the boards of the Gainesville-Hall County Development Authority; Georgia Chamber of Commerce; Northeast Georgia Health Systems; PRISM (the records management international industry association) and the Gainesville Rotary Club.
He is a native of Gainesville, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1983 where he received his BBA in Transportation / Physical Distribution.
