GAINESVILLE, Ga. (April 15, 2024) – Spence Price, Adams Industrial Properties and Corporate Storage Chief Financial Officer and Partner, was recognized for his outstanding contributions to the Hall County community at the 25th annual American Values Dinner hosted by the Boy Scouts of America’s Northeast Georgia Council on March 21.

Price was presented with the Ralph Cleveland Distinguished Citizen Award, which celebrates individuals who exemplify the spirit of community service and inspire others to make a positive impact.

“I am humbled to receive this award,” Price said. “To be mentioned alongside the past recipients of this award is an honor. I believe that great communities are formed and sustained because of the tireless caring work from scores of citizens who are not looking for individual accolades but are focused on making a difference for the greater good of their community. We have this in Gainesville/Hall County and that is why we are such a special place.”

Throughout his career, Price has been involved in professional and civic activities. Price is currently a member of The Georgia Society of CPAs and the GSCPA Real Estate Section, Current Northeast Georgia Health System Board Chair; in addition, Spence serves as a member of the Northeast Georgia Health System Executive and Finance Committees as well as numerous other Health System committees and sub-committees.

“If I’m ever asked about Spence, I’ve given this answer. He is a good business partner but more importantly he is a good husband, a good father, strong in his faith – a good man,” said Jimmy Adams, AIP and Corporate Storage President & CEO. “Spence is selective about the causes he embraces because that is what he does – he wholeheartedly embraces them.”

Among the causes Price has embraced are Past Treasurer and Board Member of United Way of Hall County; Past Board Member of Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce; Past Treasurer and Board Member of Gateway House; Past Chairman of Flat Creek Baptist Church Finance Committee; Past Treasurer of Greater Buford Athletic Association; Past Treasurer of South Hall Rotary Club; Past Member of Gainesville Kiwanis Club.

The Ralph Cleveland Distinguished Citizen Award is given to individuals who demonstrate exceptional civic leadership and community involvement. Price’s dedication to his community aligns perfectly with the values upheld by the Boy Scouts of America.
