2024 Industry of the YearGAINESVILLE, GA. (November 20, 2024) Corporate Storage was a proud sponsor of the 2024 Industry of the Year Awards hosted by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and held on November 20th at Lanier Technical College. This is the 16th year that the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce has held the luncheon to honor local businesses. This annual event recognizes the existing industries in Hall County for their economic impact, corporate responsibility, and workforce excellence. As a silver sponsor and former award recipient, the Corporate Storage team is excited to see our community partners thriving and was glad to be a part of their recognition. Last year, Corporate Storage was recognized as a 2023 Industry of the Year in the Medium Employer Category.

In addition to the awards ceremony, Wesley Barrell of the Georgia Ports Authority gave an update on the Blue Ridge Connector. Dr. Jeff Humphreys, director of the Selig Center for Economic Growth at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and this year’s keynote speaker, delivered a great economic forecast for Hall County regarding the upcoming year(s). Other noteworthy speakers included Sam Couvillon, the City of Gainesville Mayor, and Billy Powell, Hall County Commissioner.
