Executive

Jimmy Adams

President and CEO

Jimmy Adams is the founder of Corporate Storage and serves as President and CEO, directing the growth of the company.

Having launched the company in 2014 with one Georgia location, Corporate Storage now operates 7 locations throughout northeast Georgia and in Texas. Within 4 years, the Gainesville, Georgia headquarters expanded from 250,000 to 400,000 sf under his leadership, and the company now operates in 900,000 sf.

Jimmy is also CEO and Managing Partner of The Adams Companies, now Adams Industrial Properties, marking its 120th year in business. The businesses’ origins in moving and storage led to a diversification into records management, industrial storage, bonded warehousing and industrial development, totaling in excess of 3.5 million square feet. The company was twice recognized as Georgia’s Family Business of the Year.

Throughout his business career, Jimmy has been active in improving his community and industry.  He has served as Chairman of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce; Chairman of the Gainesville-Hall County Economic Development Council; The National Records Centers; on the boards of the Gainesville-Hall County Development Authority; Georgia Chamber of Commerce; Northeast Georgia Health Systems; PRISM (the records management international industry association) and the Gainesville Rotary Club.

He is a native of Gainesville, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1983 where he received his BBA in Transportation / Physical Distribution.

Spence Price, CPA

Chief Financial Officer and Partner

Spence Price is Chief Financial Officer of Corporate Storage and Adams Industrial Properties. Spence is responsible for all accounting and finance, human resource and IT functions of the companies. In addition, he plays a key role in strategic direction, planning and implementation of the companies’ growth.

Headquartered in Gainesville, Georgia, Corporate Storage operates 900,000 square feet of warehouse space and Adams Industrial Properties manages 1.7 million square feet of industrial real estate.

Throughout his career, Spence has been very involved in professional and community activities. Spence is a member of The Georgia Society of CPAs and the GSCPA Real Estate Section; and is current Board Chair of Northeast Georgia Health System. He also serves as a member of the Health System’s Executive Committee as well as working with numerous other committees and sub-committees.

Prior to joining Adams Industrial Properties, Spence served as Chief Financial Officer of the W.L. Norton Agency, Inc., one of North Georgia’s largest real estate and insurance companies. Spence also held positions with Rushton and Company; a Gainesville based accounting firm, as well as Adams Howard and Banks PC in Atlanta.

His other past professional and community activities include: Past Board Member and Treasurer of United Way of Hall County; past Board Member of Hall County and City Gainesville Hospital Authority; past Chairman of Northeast Georgia Health System Finance Committee; past Board Member of Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce; past Chairman of Flat Creek Baptist Church Finance Committee; past Treasurer of Greater Buford Athletic Association; Treasurer of South Hall Rotary Club; Treasurer of Gateway House.

Spence graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University with a BBA in Accounting in 1993.

Debbie Cofer

Chief Operating Officer and Partner

As Chief Operating Officer of Corporate Storage, Debbie Cofer oversees the commercial warehouse division of The Adams Companies and plays a key role in executive management of Corporate Storage, including strategic direction and planning.

Debbie joined The Adams Companies in 1995. Combining the knowledge gained in a career of inventory and records management and general warehousing experience learned from The Adams Companies best practices, Debbie’s expertise in operation management ensures the consistency of professional standards to meet the expectations of Corporate Storage customers and staff.

Debbie holds certificates of training from ASI for Advanced Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), AIB International for SQF, Warehouse & Distribution GWP, and IWLA Qualified Warehouse Logistics Professional. She serves on the Southeastern Warehouse Association (SWA) Board as Georgia State Director through 2025, is a member of Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA) and International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA).

Prior to joining The Adams Companies, Debbie spent much of her career in the field of information and data management, serving key roles in an array of industry sectors including medical, municipal government, private sector and commercial records management.

Operations

Robb Williams

Director of Operational Improvement

Robb Williams joined Corporate Storage in 2022 and serves as the Director of Operational Improvement. His role includes development, implementation and oversight of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to SQF, OSHA and company quality and safety standards.

Robb is a leader of ongoing Continuous Improvement strategies along with establishing and monitoring the KPI’s of the company. He has been trained in SQF, HACCP, FSMA, Lean Six Sigma, OSHA Safety, and Continuous Improvement Methods and is a member of IWLA.

He has a production and warehouse background including 25 years of management experience in the food and beverage industry.

Robb previously held various management positions with Dean Foods and Lathem Family Farms in east Tennessee and northeast Georgia.

Robb has a Bachelor of Science degree (Chemistry/Biology) from Tennessee Wesleyan University.

Rod Allen

Director of Operations Georgia

Rod Allen joined Corporate Storage in 2021.

Rod serves as Director of Operations Georgia coordinating the daily operation activities for warehouse logistics, customer service, cost management, staffing and special projects for all Georgia warehouse locations.

Rod has 28 years of warehousing experience including 20 years of supervisory and management experience in the food and beverage industry.

In addition to training in HACCP, WMS and PFR Scheduling, Rod has extensive knowledge and experience with 3rd party auditing and project management.

Rod previously held warehouse management positions with Dean Foods and Almark Foods in northeast Georgia.

Rod is a graduate of the University of North Georgia with a degree in Business Administration.

Jeremy Conner

Director of Operations Texas

Jeremy Conner joined Corporate Storage in 2022 and serves as Director of Operations Texas coordinating the daily operation activities for warehouse logistics, customer service, cost management, staffing and special projects.

In addition to training in HACCP, WMS, and PFR scheduling, Jeremy has extensive knowledge in warehouse start-ups, 3rd party auditing, project management and intercompany consulting for ongoing projects.

He has over 27 years of distribution, purchasing, warehousing and operations experience including 25 years of supervisory and management experience in the food and beverage industry.

Jeremy previously held warehouse management positions for Dean Foods and DFA in Georgia and Texas.

Sales

Christa Andrews

Sales Manager

Christa Andrews joined The Adams Companies in 2017 and now serves as Sales Manager for Corporate Storage, where she is responsible for business-to-business sales and relationships.

Christa assists with identifying the ever-changing and growing warehouse needs of local and regional manufacturers, distributors and food processors and providing solutions for those customers’ needs.

Christa has an extensive career in sales and customer service spanning more than fifteen years.

Her experience includes manufacturing, industrial electronic repair, the automotive industry, and transportation and relocations services. She is involved professionally with the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance which provides a platform for manufacturing leaders to form strategic alliances and share best business practices.

Christa is also an active member of the Greater Hall County Chamber of Commerce, as a graduate of the Leadership Hall program as well as serving on the Ambassador Council. Having previously served on the Chamber Board, Christa will again be serving on the 2023-2024 Chamber’s Board of Directors.

Christa has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Mike Cottrell College of Business at the University of North Georgia.

Human Resources

Christy Buffington

Director of Human Resources

Christy is a native of Cullman, Alabama and relocated to Georgia in 1997. With a strong academic background, she graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University in 1993 earning her BA in Business Administration & Finance.

Before joining The Adams Companies, she served as the Controller and Human Resources Director for Chandlee and Sons Construction in Alpharetta, a premier commercial construction company in Alpharetta.  Not limited to the construction industry, Christy also excelled in the software sector for 14 years where she held influential positions as Director of Global Revenue & Billing Operations at Hewlett Packard and as Director of Global Sales Operations at PowerPlan in Atlanta.

She is an active member of the Foothills of Georgia Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has recently attended Hall County of Chamber of Commerce events to further engage with her community.
